Exhibitions

A major feature of the 2006 Annual Meeting will be a range of exhibitions and displays featuring works of some of Europe's best archaeological organisations, publishers, and manufacturers of archaeological equipment. Universities, museums, publishers, government institutions and any other interested parties are welcome to present their products in the exhibition hall.

The standard exhibition unit comprises of an area 2.00m by 3.00m or 2.00 by 4.00 equipped with a fitted carpet, one lamp per 3 sq.m , table 0.70 x 0.70 m, four chairs, a simple counter 1.00 x 0.50 m, a wall shelf (one for each 2m sq.m), hanger, and a dustbin. The exhibition box is built in aluminium octagonal OCTA system with white laminated plates and a standard wall height of 2.50 m. A smaller unit costs 400 euro while the larger one is 550 euro. The prices are for all three days of the conference. 

The size limit for the poster is: 231 cm height and 96 cm width.

The exhibits will be set up on Wednesday afternoon the 20th of September, and displays will be set up on Thursday morning. They will be open from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm starting on Thursday 21st September and closing on Saturday 23rd September at 3.00 pm. The overnight locking facilities will be provided.

Exhibitors will be provided with an opportunity to insert one or more flyers in the official documentation of the Conference.

A guide to the exhibition will be included in the Conference handbook. All exhibitors will be listed by name, address, contact details, and the main area of work. Additional space in the handbook, including full A4 pages, can be purchased.

All payments are accepted only in the form of bank transfers directly to the account of Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology, Polish Academy of Sciences. Please indicate your name on the bank transfer.
